When you enter an http or https url this page will show all of the places a browser goes on the way to that url plus the html received.
Useful for tracing the path from a spam link in an email to the final destination web server.
Some noticable time may elapse for some paths before a response is received.
If the "Verify https: checkbox is checked the application will verify that each server in the chain which is the subject of an https: attempt has a proper and valid certificate, and will terminate progress when a url does not support https: or has an invalid or missing certificate. When not checked, you are back to the old "everybody is trustworthy and honest" internet. Of course you have to type https:// in the url box for this to work, and servers in the chain will not be checked if they are accessed with plain old http://
