Enter your total Unweighted and Weighted Grade Points and Attempts from your history in the Historical Data section at the top. If you enter Unweighted points and the Weighted points are zero, the Weighted points will be set to the same value as the Unweighted points. To change this, just click on the Weighted points and enter the correct value.

Under "Grades for this Semester/Year" choose the appropriate grading term:

Rotator - Semester

Rotator - Year

Block - Semester

Eight spaces for classes are provided, so you could enter a full year for a Block schedule under "This Term", although a more normal way to do this would be to include the first semester under "Historical Data".

Then enter your grades or anticipated grades using the drop-down menu. Remember to adjust the class grades if any of your classes are "Honors" or "AP". Honors classes have one additional grade point (for a full term) for any grade of "C" or higher. Full-term "AP" classes have two additional grade points for any grade of "C" or higher.

Your GPA will be calculated and displayed as you enter grades. If you are taking fewer than 7 classes (for example on block schedules) leave the grade for the unused classes as "--". This will prevent them from being counted.

Weighted and Unweighted GPAs are calculated for:

• Historical Data,
• This Term,
• the Total Cumulative period including this term,
• the Total Cumulative period including this term with forgiveness subtracted using the drop-down menus.

DO NOT USE THE "FORGIVEN" DROP-DOWNS FOR ANY FORGIVENESS ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE HISTORICAL DATA!!!

This web page uses JavaScript and the Document Object Model to allow calculations to be performed and displayed. Therefore it may not work properly in some older browsers (releases before 2003). Other than that it should work on any operating system that has a reasonably standards-compliant and up-to-date browser. This would include Linux, Mac OSX, and Windows 2000 or newer.

You can copy this page so that it works when you are not connected to the net by simply doing a "Save As" in your browser. In order to do this you will have to look at the features of your browser and decide to save the page as one of the following:

• "Page Source", or "Web Page"
  This is the html code of the page, including only css and scripts on the page itself. If you do this, you will lose the hexagon background (maybe you think that's good) and any images on the page. You may also have to manually change the extension (the part of the file name after the last "." to "html" or "htm". This is due to a strange bug/feature of some browsers that cause them to recognize a page with a .php extension as html if it is on a web site, but not if it is a local file. Go figure.
  
  
• "Web Archive"
  The html code of the page and any associated files containing css, scripts, images, and background compressed into the one file that is saved.
  
  
• "Web Page, Complete"
  An html file with a folder or directory containing any associated files with css, scripts, images, and backgrounds. If you save it this way, you will have to make sure that you don't lose the associated directory, or else the page may behave strangely.
