This page calculates grades using the same methodology defined by Broward County Public Schools for Middle Schools.
Grade tables are below, followed by the calculation procedure.

Note that
"≥" means "Greater Than or Equal to",
"<" means "Less Than".
Procedure: For those who enjoy doing things the hard way:
- Non-EOC Course:For each of the 4 academic quarters, find the point value for the grade earned for each quarter in Table 2 using the "Quarter" column. Add these 4 values to find the point value for the course. Find the appropriate grade by finding the highest range in Table 3 under "Points" that contains the point value calculated. The final grade is the grade corresponding to that range.
- EOC Course: Find the "Final" (non-EOC) grade as described above. Use the "Final Grade" from Table 3 and look up that grade in Table 2 to find the NEW "Full Year" point total. Also in Table 2 find the EOC grade and its point total. Add the "Full Year" and "EOC" totals from Table 2 to find a new point total for the course including the EOC points. Go to Table 4 and look up the grade that corresponds to the point range into which the total fits. The corresponding grade is the EOC grade for the course.
