You must be on-campus and connected to the campus network for this to work.
Assuming that you are viewing this in one of those Browsers, "Control-Click" or "Right-Click" Here and choose to open in a new window or tab to start.
You should see the following, because Browardschools.local uses a self-generated certificate.
In this case it is probably OK, as this is on a private network that is not connected to the Internet.
FOR ANY KIND OF REGULAR INTERNET WEBSITE YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN THINK OF DOING THIS!!!
If you don't see this warning, it is because somebody has already gone through the "exception" process on your computer and browser. Don't worry, just skip down to "authentication required" and pick up there.
Click "I understand the Risks" and you will get the following.
Click "Add Exception" and you will get the following.
If you leave the "Permanantly store this exception" button clicked you will only have to do this once. That is probably the best option.
Click "Confirm Security Exception" and you will get the following.
Fill in your network UserID (your P#) and your network Password, and press "OK".
This will bring up the password reset tool below. Obviously, it should show your name, not John Michael's.
Fill in the ten-digit student number and press "Look Up User".
If this succeeds, it should bring up the name of a valid student user. If not, either the number is wrong, the student is no longer a Coral Glades Student, or the account has been marked as "idle".
If the student is located CHECK THAT THE NAME IS CORRECT and fill in a password.
The password must be at least 8 characters long and have at least one UPPER CASE letter, one lower case letter, and one numerical digit. It may also have special characters like period, exclamation point, etc. etc.
You should either have the student fill in the password while you are not looking, or warn them to change it themselves later to something that only they know.
It is not good for us to know students' passwords.
Click "Change Password" and you should see the "Success" box.
